Welcome to Smart HEMA Clubs. We are a fun and relaxed group in the south west of England, with clubs currently in Swindon and Berkshire. Our goal at Smart HEMA Clubs is to get you fighting! We view HEMA as a sport, and as such we focus on taking historical teachings and adapting them to work in a modern competitive setting.

Primarily we study the Longsword, Sword & Buckler, Rapier and Sabre disciplines in line with the majority of HEMA competitions in the UK and internationally. So whether you’re looking to become a competitive fighter, build your fitness or simply looking for a fun new hobby, there will always be a place for you at Smart HEMA Clubs.
